Paisley's Last Soccer Game

Paisley had her last soccer game today!  We had to divide and conquer as Oliver had his first baseball game of the season.  Daddy and Ollie went to St. George while Eden, Paisley, and I stayed in Clay Center for soccer.

We finally had a nice day as opposed to the many cold soccer games we had this season.

Tiny Little Dancer

Paisley had her first dance class this weekend and I've never seen her so excited.  This will be her first organized sport/activity.  She's thrilled for her outfits, shoes, and to have something of just her own.

2019 Soccer

Today was Ollie's final soccer game.  It was definitely a learning experience.  Ollie probably spent more time running away from his friend Max than actually playing soccer.  He and Max were the youngest on the team and they were more interested in playing with each other.  Oh well, he had a fun season!

Oliver's First Soccer Game

Thursday was Ollie's first soccer game and we lucked out having some fans in town.  Grammy, Grandpa, and Grandma had a funeral the previous day so they spent the night to catch our soccer star in action.  Papa had actually been at Fort Riley with the same plans, but Aunt Haley was in the hospital so Papa left to go meet baby Axel.

Kicking off was Ollie's best opportunity for some action.

He got to kick off twice and did a great job!

He's by far the smallest and had trouble staying focused on where the ball was.  There were so many kids (most of them way bigger than he is) the he often gave up trying.  However, he didn't sit down on the field, so I'm calling that a win!

Soccer Practice

I signed Oliver up for soccer this spring, his first organized sport.  Today he had his first practice.  He did pretty good other than the fact that he drank all his water on the way and was dying of thirst once they got started.

Here is what he had to say immediately following.
(Please ignore Paisley.  She is still in her car seat wrestling phase where she grunts, moans, screams, and cries trying to get out of her straps.)
