Chalk Fun
Bathtime Beauties
Paisley went to a a car show with daddy and she was thrilled for some daddy-daughter time.
While Riley and Pais were at the car show, I took Ollie and Eden to Oliver's first t-ball practice this year and then to the Farmhouse for lunch.
Mother's Day was interesting this year. Riley asked what I wanted and I told him that I've love an Apple Watch. He wasn't sure what kind so in my card he had given me a coupon for one. We decided to go out for lunch on Sunday, do some shopping, and I could pick one out.
Paisley was kind of in a mood, but was excited to go to Old Chicago.
Dressed and ready to celebrate mom.
Our plans were quickly changed when we pulled into the parking lot of Old Chicago and Paisley started throwing up everywhere. After cleaning up, stopping at Target for new clothes for Pais, picking up food to eat on the way home, and a quick stop at Best Buy for my Apple Watch, we headed back home.
This year at school I have 35 students. We dealt with masks most of the year, social distancing, and just a very strange year! I'll also be at the high school this year for summer camp due to construction at the grade school, hence the bare walls. Our last day ended with some tears, our first group hug, and lots of smiles.
Eden has been super fussy in the late afternoon. The trick is a blanket, paci, and snuggles. Unfortuntely, we are planning to take her paci away here soon at the beginning of June. I know it isn't going to be fun so I'm enjoying these snuggles with our blanket and paci routine. Up until recently, she's only used her paci to go to sleep. She's using it more now so I know breaking her of it will be difficult.
Oliver and Paisley started summer camp. I thought a summer at RCCC would help Paisley before she begins preschool in August. She wasn't thrilled about leaving Mama O's, but she has been having a blast at summer camp.
My cousin Josh got married a few months back in Arkansas and we celebrated this month with a little crawfish boil reception. None of us had ever tried it before. It was a lot of work for a little meat, but it was good.
Oliver ate them faster than I could get them opened.
I had my 15 year class reunion over Memorial Day weekend. It was nice to catch up with these people that I spent so much time with many years ago!
