Bye Bye Crib, Hello Toddler Bed

Today we took the front of Paisley's crib off to transition it into a toddler bed.

She's pretty proud of herself getting in and out of bed on her own!

2019 Soccer

Today was Ollie's final soccer game.  It was definitely a learning experience.  Ollie probably spent more time running away from his friend Max than actually playing soccer.  He and Max were the youngest on the team and they were more interested in playing with each other.  Oh well, he had a fun season!

Gymnastics Fun

Oliver was invited to a classmate's birthday party today that was at a gymnastics center.  The birthday boy, Ryker, was sharing his birthday party with his little sister, Rymi, so Paisley got invited too.

Neither of the kids have ever been to a gymnastics center, but they both had a ball.

Ollie was pretty independent as he explored and tried out things with his friends.

Paisley and I hung out in the foam pit.  I sat on the edge and would throw her in.  She'd laugh and crawl back to me.  Toward the end, she got a bit brave and would stand on the edge saying, "Jump, jump!"  She'd walk off the edge and climb back out by herself.

School Carnival

Ollie and I enjoyed the school carnival together this year.  We decided to leave Daddy and Paisley at home while we had a fun mommy-son date!

Ollie was a trooper while I worked the popcorn stand, waiting patiently to go play games.

Cotton candy was, of course, the highlight of the night.  I unwrapped it for him just before exiting the parking lot.  Before we even made it the the highway, I looked back to see how he was doing with it and he was holding an empty stick and wearing a huge grin!

Axel Cole

We've been anxiously awaiting the arrival of a new baby cousin.  Up until now, our kids are the youngest on both Riley's side and my side.

Haley was induced on 8:00pm on Wednesday.  She was told to expect baby to make his arrival late Thursday or early Friday morning.  Baby Axel was too anxious and decided to make his arrival at 12:55 Wednesday afternoon.

Axel Cole
7 pounds 10 ounces
19 1/4"

We went to meet Baby Axel on Friday after school.

After our hospital visit, we went to Cracker Barrel to eat supper.  Oliver had an "ouchie" on his finger than he had to tell Papa all about.  Oh my!
