Halloween 2019

Preschool Halloween Party

Playing both teacher and mom can get a little hairy at times, but I do love being apart of everything Ollie does at school.  Taking photos can sometimes be a bit tricky, but here are a few snapshots from Ollie's Halloween festivities.

Halloween Festivities - Sunset Zoo Spooktacular

Riley's parents' hadn't seen the kids in a while so they decided to come for a visit.  The Sunset Zoo Spooktacular was Saturday, so we had something fun to do together.

It was a gorgeous day and we really couldn't have asked for better weather.

Halloween Festivities - Aggieville Trick or Treating & Parade

With such success last year, we decided to try to make the Aggieville Trick or Treating and Homecoming Parade a tradition.  It was packed and busier than we remember it being last year, but it was still a fun time.

We, of course, got lots of comments about how cute the kids and their costumes were.

Often people would see Ollie first and ask if he had any doughnuts.  He would then point at Paisley and everybody thought it was so adorable.  And I agree.

Preschool Fun

This past week at preschool was quite an adventurous one for Ollie.  He started the week with a field trip and ended the week with a visit from the local fire department for fire safety week.

He also learned about letter Hh this week and a classmate brought a horse to share with our class.

Children had the opportunity to ride if they chose to.
(Don't be alarmed, the ride was not as rough as it appears to be.  Ollie's head shaking was a bit much.)

Nelson Family Farm Field Trip

Ollie's preschool class went to Nelson Family Farm again this fall.  It was tough to get many photos of him as he was busy and on the run the whole time.

Family Fun Day - Hildebrand Harvest Festival

It seems as if things have been so busy lately that we really needed a family day.

We began our morning with donuts.

Daddy had to go get his work truck washed up for a parade in Riley so the kids and I snuggled and took selfies as we waited his return.

We ventured over to Junction City for the Hildebrand Harvest Festival.

Uncle Shelby was working the harvest festival so rather than waiting in the mile long line to eat there, we went to Freddy's instead.

We headed home for quick naps before waking up early to join Riley in the Fall Festival parade in Riley.  Ollie loved seeing some of his friends from school, but we failed to take any photos.

To continue with our adventure we headed to Manhattan next.  We had a big Menard's list, as always. McAlister's was a must for supper along with Orange Leaf for dessert.
