Eden's Baptism

This past Sunday we were finally able to get little Miss Eden baptized.  Oliver and Paisley were both baptized pretty quickly after being born.  If I'm remembering correctly we had them done before I returned to work from maternity leave.  Like everything else here lately, Covid messed up our plans and we had to wait.  Even though it was a little later than we had anticipated, it was good little celebration bringing her into the Catholic Church.

Directly after having the Holy Water pour on her head, little Eden decided to blow out of her diaper.

Father commented that he had never had anybody sing through their ceremony like she did (she was singsongy babbling).  I wonder how many baptisms he has had that ended like this.

Paisley's First Trip to the Dentist

Paisley finally had her first visit to the dentist.  It was suppose to be back in Aril, but due to Covid we had to reschedule it.  It actually got rescheduled a second time too because Dr. Kruse was going to be out of the office.  Anyway, we finally made it in.

Oliver and I also had appointments on that day so Riley stayed home with Eden.  When we got there they took Oliver to one room to get him started and Paisley and I went to another room.  She sat on the floor loudly (and adorably) reading Brown Bear, Brown Bear.

Soon Oliver was done and they came and asked me if Paisley would go to the other room without me.  Before I could even answer, she was off the floor and headed down the hallway.  I peeked in on her to snap a quick picture.  She did great and we all got perfect check ups - no cavities.

Five Months Old

We've hit another milestone as Miss Eden is now 5 months old.  She now has two bottom teeth that have been working their way in over the past couple weeks.

She continues to be a happy, smiley girl.  She can roll, but prefers to just lay on her side.

We borrowed a zen sack from cousin Axel to help her sleep and it seems to be helping.  Being swaddled or holding a blanket by her face is her favorite way to sleep, but isn't the safest since she rolls around now.  The zen sack seems to be providing her with a bit on comfort and she's getting back to sleeping better - not always through the night, but better.

Eden is happiest when she's sitting up (with assistance) so she can see what is going on around here.
