When we stopped at the gas station, I told Riley to grab the kids Laffy Taffy Ropes for a treat.  You know, the ones that are like thirty cents.  He came back with one saying it's all they had so he got a way more expensive Nerds Rope instead.  She was very happy with the substitution.

Oliver didn't gain much weight.  He had to go have bloodwork done and is being referred to Children's Mercy, but the appointment isn't until the end of August.  He certainly didn't like having blood drawn, but he did good!

On our way to the recital Paisley shared that she was really nervous.  As I was giving her a pep talk about how much she's practiced and how hard she's worked, she tole me she was nervous that nobody would bring her flowers.

Kaycie brought the cutest little bouquet and it just HAD to go in Paisley's room.
