Seven Months Old

Oliver is now 7 months old.  He is quite the little wiggle worm and skooches all over the place.  He hasn't quite started crawling, but he can get where he wants to go.  Ollie eats his baby food really well now.  His favorites are bananas and peaches.  Ollie is still in 3-6 month clothing.  His recent hair cut has really made him look more grown up.

Here's my little nerd baby:

Ollie is a happy little guy and growing like a little weed lately.

Big Boy in the Grocery Store

I got tired of lugging Ollie's car seat into the grocery store and having it take up all the room in the cart so I decided he was big enough to sit in the cart. He loved it.

I told him to smile and this is what I got. Just like his daddy.

Monkey Butt

This little monkey butt is seven months old today!  He has a little cold so I'm holding off on his seven month photos until the weekend so hopefully he will feel better by then.

Riley spotted these adorable sock monkey pajamas at Burlington Coat Factory last weekend.  I just couldn't resist.  They weren't even on sale, but he just had to have them. :)

Labor Day Weekend 2015

We had lots of good family time this Labor Day weekend!
We spent Friday night and Saturday with Grandma & Grandpa.

These are a few of Ollie's last photos before his first hair cut.

Oliver thinks that he is big enough to walk.  Not quite yet, but he sure loves to stand.
Here he is with Grammy.

Playing with Grandma.

Snoozing with mommy.

Riley and I ran to Hiawatha on Saturday.  When we returned, Ollie was cruising  around on the golf cart.  Grandma and Grandpa were trying to get him to sleep, no such luck as there was too much to see.

Chilling in the sink.

On Sunday we headed to Meriden for a September birthday family get-together.  Here are some snapshots from the day:

First Haircut

Oliver had his first haircut on Saturday courtesy of Riley's Uncle Goose.

He wasn't having it at first...

...but warmed up to the whole idea and sat fairly well the majority of the time.

A little tug to Goose's beard was a must.

Towards the end, he sure didn't enjoy the trimming up around his ears.

A little suction from the vacuum makes everything better though.

What a handsome little guy.  He looks so different now.

Lollipop for the good customer.

A view from the top.

Before & After:  What a Change!

Every little boy needs to sit on his daddy's lap for a haircut... Riley is up next ;)

Foods

Ollie is getting better at eating his baby food.  Some days are better than others, but regardless he always seems to wear more than he eats.

This eating thing is harder than it looks...

Kitchen sink baths occur often after supper.

Tractor Time

Yesterday Ollie and I were hanging around after school and Riley called to invite us to come ride around in a tractor.  He was doing some vertical tilling so I packed up some supper and headed out.

Ollie was getting over a little cold and had been kind of fussy, but he was an angel while in the tractor.  He loved looking around at everything.

Riley is new at this selfie thing ...
