The baby is becoming quite the little explorer. His favorite drawer is the bottom drawer in the kitchen. He loves to dig out the paper plates, plastic wrap, aluminum foil, and baggies. I caught him running his fingers against the sharp blade edge of the plastic wrap box and that was that -- time to do some baby proofing.
My handy husband went to work with assistance from the baby, of course.
Ollie was sure to help him adjust his glasses so he could see perfectly.
Ollie was quite proud of his handy work.
Our baby proofing didn't go as well as planned....
The drawers open up a bit, which is enough for a certain somebody to stick his cute little hands in and pull out paper plates. He will then proceed to eat the paper plates until he gets caught at which time he crawls away laughing.
We also haven't been able to figure out a way to baby proof the drawer under the stove. He loves to open it, usually over the top of his mommy's toes and when I scream in pain he just looks up at me and smiles. Sitting in the drawer and falling out of the drawer head first are things that he currently enjoys doing as well.
