Spring Break in Branson (part one)

Last week we were able to get away and enjoy some family time for spring break in Branson, Missouri.  We were a bit nervous on how Ollie would do on his first lengthy road trip.
We recently turned his rear facing seat forward so it was something new and exciting for him... I think that helped.
We broke up our trip by stopping in Kansas City at Nebraska Furniture Mart to buy a few new things for our new house.  We had a washer, dryer, dining table, and futon all picked out online beforehand.  We didn't end up getting anything that we had picked out, so it made for a bit lengthier stop than we had planned for.
Nothing like going on vacation and dropping a couple grand before you get to your destination :)

Ollie's facial expression doesn't accurately display the comfort of the new sectional/pullout bed for the playroom, haha!
After NFM, we stopped for a quick lunch and then Ollie slept all the way to Osceola Cheese and was a happy traveler the rest of the way to Branson.

While in Branson, we did lots of outlet shopping.  Ollie and his cousins were troopers being drug along to all the stores.
One stop that I was excited to make was the Disney Store at the Tanger Outlets.  Oliver has recently started watching tv and he adores Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
He was so excited to see so many Mickeys.  His vacation souvenir was just that, even though he had a hard time understanding that we bought it and he could take it with him.  (He kept trying to put it back.  I guess that shows how often we buy him toys at the store, hehe.)
Oliver's favorite thing to do at the Landing was to toss pennies into the water.
He also loved the giant tub in mommy and daddy's room.
Who needs a swimming pool when you've got a tub like this?
Oliver and Grammy spent most mornings cuddling and playing together.
