Poor Paisley

Our little Paisley girl had quite the week last week.  She threw up a little bit Sunday morning, but acted fine afterwards so we assumed she just drank milk too fast.  She was fine the rest of the day Sunday and fine Monday too.

On Tuesday, I dropped her off at daycare and hadn't even made it to school before getting the phone call saying that Paisley was throwing up.  I took Ollie to preschool, got things together for being gone, and headed to get Paisley.  She and I spent the day together at home and she acted completely normal.

Obviously, the puke bowl wasn't really needed.

We anticipated sending her back to daycare the following day, but she threw up that night at midnight.  Riley stayed home with her on Wednesday and she finally started acting like she didn't feel well.  She slept lots, but only threw up in the morning.  We cut her off of milk thinking that maybe it was contributing.

She was still pretty puny the following day so we called in reinforcements and Papa stayed home with her Thursday and Friday.  We ended up taking her to the doctor Thursday afternoon where she cried the entire time for mashed potatoes (which she usually doesn't even really care for).

The doctor thought that maybe she just had a tummy bug, but perhaps she was backed up.  (Thursday evening she did have some diarrhea so perhaps it was that, who knows.)

All I do know is that it was a long week for our little girl.  She definitely wasn't herself until Friday when she finally started to perk up a bit.
