Winter Snapshots

As is typical with the second child, we have far less photos of Paisley than we have of Oliver.  Lately, I've tried to do a bit better at taking photos of Miss P.  Here are a few favorites from the last couple months.

Pais has started to tell us when she needs to poop so I've taken advantage of it and started putting her on the potty.

She's had several successes and is alway super proud of herself!

Little Miss Attitude

Paisley definitely has a personality of her very own.  We get this look quite often these days.

Oliver is Four / Paisley is Eighteen Months

Yesterday, Ollie turned four and tomorrow Pais will be 18 months old!  I'm not sure how we lucked out with such cute kids!

WIBW Birthday Club

Tyson's 9th Birthday

With Oliver and Tyson being birthday buddies, we typically have back-to-back birthday parties.  Yesterday we celebrated Tyson's 9th birthday!

Ollie even got a candle in his piece of cake, how sweet!

Oliver's 4th Birthday at Preschool & Texas Roadhouse

Today was a big day of celebration for Ollie's 4th Birthday.

Daddy came for lunch at school which was super awesome because Oliver has never eaten school lunch.  He thought he was big stuff carrying his tray and showing daddy how to do it.

In the afternoon, we celebrated Oliver's birthday with treats to share with his classmates.  He and mommy made homemade peanut butter chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.

They were delicious and well received!

The eating feast continued with a special night out to Texas Roadhouse or "The Peanut Place" as he calls it.

He sure didn't show any of his usually shyness as he gladly rode the saddle.

Oliver's 4th Birthday

We've got a popcorn loving boy so it made perfect sense to have a popcorn birthday party.

Aunt Haley got a Cricut for Christmas (a gift I fully encouraged as I selfishly thought of all the things  she could make me) and made these cute shirts for the kiddos.

As I tend to sometimes do, I went a little overboard with the amount of food.  We had a popcorn bar with six different flavors including birthday cake neapolitan,  kool-aid, puppy chow, caramel, and movie theater.

All these different kinds were fun to taste, but I'll admit it was a bit time consuming, especially the Kool-aid popcorn with each color being a different batch.

To go along with the popcorn theme I did a concession stand menu for lunch complete with hotdogs, nachos, soft pretzels, the works...

Oh, how I love that little face!

Oliver loves "exercising" on my treadmill when were are down in the basement.  Around Christmas I found this Mighty Runner thing on a crazy good deal on Amazon.  It turned out to be a big hit!
